People come into your life for a reason or a season, I’m so happy Linda came into my life while we worked in Radiology VAMC. During that time I got to know a wonderful person with a genuine heart and her love for the Lord was shown and known. We’ve had many conversations for me to grow spiritually and I am forever grateful. I considered her my earthly angel and now my heavenly one. To her family continue to walk with her love and blessings in your hearts because I will. God bless her family.

    For Linda:

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

A true Christian doesn’t just profess faith,- they live it, breathe it, and walk it daily. Linda did exactly that. Her life was one of divine purpose, anchored in the Word of God and expressed through every act of service, every prayer, and every stand for what was right.

In the workplace, she boldly displayed her Christian walk standing beside me in moments of injustice, not just with her presence, but with her unshakable spiritual strength. She was a mighty prayer warrior, always reminding me that with God is on our side, we were unstoppable.

Her faith was deep and tested, yet never shaken. Whether ministering to the hurting, uplifting the sick, or pouring wisdom into those who crossed her path, Linda’s grace and mercy reflected Christ’s love. She stood by me through some of my most challenging seasons, and I truly cherished our relationship.

Though I will miss her here on earth, I have peace knowing she is hearing the voice of our mighty and matchless God saying, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.” And for that, I rejoice.

I have to write here what I said about in my eulogy to my Mother. I cannot think of anything to say but say thank you. Thank you for imparting your wisdom. Thank you for being such a good friend to Mom over the years. Thank you for being available if I needed comfort. Such a beautiful spirit and soul. Rest easy, Madam. Say hi to Mom for me.

In the short time I knew Ms. Linda, she became so much more than a friend. She was a mentor, an encourager, and a spiritual mother. From the moment we met, I could feel her love for God. She didn’t just read the Word; she lived it. She wasn’t afraid to talk about Jesus anywhere, anytime, and she made her faith visible in everything she did.

We shared many moments together, praying, crying, and reading the Scriptures. She poured out wisdom about life and about walking closely with the Lord, and I soaked up every bit of it. She used to tell me, “We know each other in the Spirit,” and at first I didn’t fully understand. But now I do.

Our time together may have been short, but it was powerful. She left a mark on my heart that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will always remember her laughter, her prayers, her encouragement, and her bold love for Jesus.

Ms. Linda lived out loud for the Lord, and because of her, my walk with Him is stronger. I will never forget my dear friend.

When I first met Linda she was serving for a connect group table. I thought she was such a sweet and kind soul. My mother’s name is Linda as well so that is where the conversation started for us. Ever since that day I would look forward to the small chit chat and hugs from Linda. She would even ask me about my children from time to time. One of my favorite memories of your mom was the way she worshiped like it was just her and God. She praised God louder than anyone in the sanctuary. She had spunk and fire! I am so blessed to have known such a sweet, kind, and ever serving the Lord friend. ❤️🪽

    Sweet “Mama Linda” ❤️

She is my sister’s MIL, and accepted me as a member of her extended family. I love her so very much, as she always had words of encouragement, scriptures for every situation I faced, offered prayers with and for me, she always spoke words of LIFE into me and into my children following my divorce, and she had the voice of an Angel. I was listening to one of the voice audios she sent me and it brought tears to my eyes. Mama Linda was a woman of tremendous faith, who spread the Gospel to everyone she came in contact with. She impacted my life in ways that I’ll never be able to fully articulate. Our conversations, texts, and interactions were filled with so much love. It was impossible to be around her and not feel the presence of the Lord! It was that infectious!! I find peace knowing that she is in the presence of the Almighty God! Well done, Mama Linda, well done!! I love you so very much and will not forget what you taught me. ❤️❤️❤️

    A Tribute to Cousin Linda

Today, I want to take a moment to honor and remember someone incredibly special to our family — Cousin Linda.

To many, she was a cousin, a friend, a sister-figure, a mom, a aunt and so much more — but to my mom, she was like a best friend. Their bond was something beautiful to witness: full of warmth, laughter, and love that could light up any room. And through their connection, Linda became a cherished part of my life as well.

I’ll never forget the times we visited Virginia. From the moment we arrived, Cousin Linda made us feel like family — not just with her kind words and welcoming smile, but with the kind of hospitality that only comes from the heart. One memory that always stays with me is the breakfast she made for us — it wasn’t just food, it was comfort, care, and love served on a plate. I can still remember how it made me feel, and how she made our visit so special.

More recently, Linda did something for me that I’ll always be grateful for. After my mom passed, I thought I had lost many of her handwritten recipes — those little pieces of her that carried so much memory. But then, Linda mailed them to me. She had saved them, held on to them, and gave them back to me when I needed them most. That gesture meant the world to me. It was like receiving a piece of my mom back, and I can’t thank her enough for that gift.

Cousin Linda was more than family. She was a keeper of memories, a bridge to the past, and a source of comfort in the present. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Cousin Linda. You will always be remembered, and forever loved.

Momma Linda, we met and it was obvious the prayer warrior she was. I’ve had the pleasure of becoming close with her son and he always spoke of her with love and reverence. Our meetings were brief but her love and spirit were gigantic, enveloping and engaging. Your work has been completed, Momma Linda, rest in His Glory.

    With Love,

Miss Linda will be so missed, but I can only imagine the excitement and freedom that she has experiencing now. Always loved her passion for the Lord and for ministry. I’ve only known her for a few years but every time she saw me, she was quick to love and give hugs. She was never afraid to do anything for God and I’ll never forget a few months ago. She came up and danced with us in the front. She was always vocal in her amen and shout outs because she was so in love with Jesus and was not afraid to express it

I am so blessed to have known her for the few short years and she has forever made an impact in my life until we see each other again
